The archipelago in the Baltic Sea between Åland and mainland Finland is one the largest archipelagos in the world. It features rugged rocky islets and forested islands separated by open waters. Visitors can reach islands in the national park using private boats, regular ferry services to certain islands, or guided boat trips arranged by local firms.
