Kvarken Archipelago – Öjen

Öjen is a roughly 26 km² large old woodland area close to the center of Vaasa. The area mainly consists of ancient spruce dominated coniferous forests, which have partly turned into bogland. The forest landscape varies between lush Beach groves and bleak rocky pine groves. There is a roughly 5 km long nature trail in the area, along which there are information boards and a fire making spot.
