Hämeenkangas Military training and multi-use are – summer

Hämeenkangas is primarily used by the Finnish defence forces, but visitors are welcome to explore the area’s many trails except during occasional periods when military exercises are held in some locations. Maps and signs direct visitors around the area, where Metsähallitus maintains many shelters and picnic and campfire sites. The best places to start exploring Hämeenkangas are the car parks at Jämi and Kuninkaanlähde.
