Guidelines for Landscape Ecological Planning

This publication describes the Landscape Ecological Planning mode applied in Metsähallitus in 1996-2000. During this period, Landscape Ecological Planning has been carried out on some 6.4 million hectares of state-owned forest land in Finland. Other organisations administering relatively large continuous forest areas can easily apply the planning process described in this report.
